Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 July 2026
Tickza (“Tickza”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is provided by JNDK Ventures. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, contact us at hello@tickza.app.
1. The short version
Tickza is built to be private. If you use it without an account, your tasks stay on your device and we don’t collect them. If you create an account to sync across devices, or you make a purchase, we process only the limited information described below. We never sell your personal information.
2. Information we collect
- Your tasks and app content. By default these are stored locally on your device and are not sent to us. If you create an account for cross-device sync (a Premium feature), your tasks are stored in our cloud database (provided by Supabase) and linked to your account so they can sync.
- Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication details. Passwords are stored only in hashed/encrypted form by our authentication provider.
- Purchase information. Subscriptions and theme-pack purchases are processed by Apple or Google — we never receive your card details. Our payments provider (RevenueCat) processes your purchase and subscription status together with an app-specific identifier, so we can unlock features and let you restore purchases.
- Diagnostics and usage. We may collect basic crash and performance information to find and fix bugs. This is limited and not used to identify you.
- Device and technical data. Standard information such as device type and operating-system version, used for compatibility and troubleshooting.
3. How we use your information
- To provide the app and, if you enable it, sync your tasks across your devices.
- To process purchases and unlock the features you buy.
- To keep the app secure and prevent misuse.
- To diagnose problems and improve the app.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
4. Legal bases
Where laws such as the EU/UK GDPR apply, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the app and your account), our legitimate interests (security and improvement), your consent (for any optional processing), and compliance with legal obligations.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information with service providers who help us run Tickza, who process it on our behalf: Apple and Google (app distribution and payments), RevenueCat (purchase and subscription management), and Supabase (account and cloud task storage). We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
6. Data retention
Locally stored tasks remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app. If you have an account, we retain your synced data while your account is active; when you delete your account we remove your synced data, subject to routine backups and any legal requirements.
7. Your rights and choices
You can access, correct, or delete your data, delete your account, and withdraw consent for any optional processing. Australian users have rights under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles; users in the EU, UK, and California (among others) have additional rights under their local laws. To make a request, email hello@tickza.app.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
Tickza is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.
10. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, including where our service providers operate. Where required, we take steps to ensure your information remains protected.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the “last updated” date, and we may notify you of material changes within the app.
